Recently seen some Israeli company marketing avionics cyber protection device for serial, Ethernet, Mil 1553 compatible military aircraft. Claims to general discrete alert and aural warning. While there has been lot of talks in civil circle on these aspects with respect to FAA AC-119-1, Next Gen implementation where it appears to be a potential threat, I have not seen anything like this in Military aircraft.
Can someone guide on the current trends and policies on avionics cyber security issues related to combat aircrafts. Has there been any reported incident due to such an event?
Old post, but I can't imagine specifics on cyber protections or cyber vulnerabilities being anywhere below Secret. That being said, there is a really great one day class AFIT offers on Cyber Test and Evaluation that is constantly being updated. Highly recommend it!
